Coatesville VA Medical Center

Magnitude of Project: $4,000,000

Client: Senate Builders, Inc.

The scope of work consists of ground up construction and renovation of a 5,800 square feet medical warehouse facility. The work includes Design/Build and abate hazardous materials from the buildings in accordance with all environmental regulations, then to demolish Buildings 18, 19, 26, 27 and 28, removing them in their entirety, including the in-ground basements and foundations.  The scope also includes demolition and removal of associated site features, including the sidewalks and steps leading up to the buildings, the macadam and gravel drive area behind Buildings 19, 26, 27 and 28 along with their associated garages and macadam pavement and backfill at each location.  The scope of this project includes rerouting of active telecom and data cables in coordination with the Central Information Office (CIO).  The scope of this project includes the addition of surface parking on a portion of the site around Buildings 19, 26, 27, and 28, as well as the site around Building 18.  It includes full site restoration, and landscaping.

CBP Offices at Reddington Building

The scope of work consists of preparing a detailed CPM construction schedule for CBP offices building, the work includes of demolish & construct the full interior build-out of the 2.5 floors (approx. 40,000sf) office space for the new CBP Offices. The work must reach substantial completion no later than 115 days from the notice to proceed.

Repair Vehicle Maintenance Building B229

Magnitude of Project: $4,000,000

Client: Senate Builders, Inc.

Owner: Departments of the Army and Air Force

Location: Horsham Air Guard Station, PA

Services: CPM Schedule, Takeoff & Cost Estimates

The scope of work consists of renovation the restrooms of a 12,800 square feet Vehicle Maintenance Building to accommodate male and female personnel. The work includes the total demolition of the existing restrooms and the reorganization of the space. The new bathrooms will provide showers and lockers areas for men and women. Renovation of the Office Area which includes two offices and a large open area for cubicles and an open breakroom. New mechanical systems for the Office Area, Breakroom and Restrooms. New electrical system for the Office Area, Breakroom, Restrooms and Laminate Room and LED lighting and ceilings throughout these areas. There are minor changes to the facade to facilitate the construction. The relocation of the windows and removal of the unit conditioners are the major items that are being removed and relocated to facilitate the new design. The material changes to the façade will match the existing surfaces.

Johns Hopkins University, Levi Hall APP Biotech Lab Renovations

Client: THG Companies

Owner: Johns Hopkins University

The scope of work consists of renovations to approximately 2,947 square feet of existing office and laboratory area on ground level of Levi hall located on the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus. The renovation will include but not limited to selective demolition of walls, doors, casework, lighting and finishes. New construction consists of renovations to the existing laboratory area; room 45 to include new walls doors relocated casework and equipment, lighting, finishes and modifications to the existing HVAC system. renovations to the office areas; rooms 36, 37 & 38 to include new walls doors, millwork, furniture, lighting, finishes and modifications to the existing HVAC system.

Repair Supply Building B310

Magnitude of Project: $5,000,000

Client: Senate Builders, Inc.

Owner: Departments of the Army and Air Force

Location: Horsham Air Guard Station, PA

The scope of work consists of complete demolition and renovation of a 20,000 square feet repair supply building 312. The project includes the demolition of Building 312 in its entirety. Building 310 will be renovated to including new electrical, mechanical, fire protection and fire alarms systems throughout the building. The building will provide the following areas: Mail Room with a Waiting / Service area where people can wait for packages, 50 lockable mail boxes, Service counter with a lockable partition and an office for staff to share. LRS occupies most of the building. The area will have 7 offices, a Conference Room with a small kitchenette, a large area for an “open office environment”, bathrooms and locker rooms for men and women and access to the Warehouse. The Main Warehouse will be approximately the same size as the current space. The reduction in the warehouse will be to accommodate space for a new Weapons Vault and Mail-room. The Warehouse will include additional cages for security of items and a workshop for pallet fabrication. At the West side of the Warehouse the TMO and Fueling are located. These areas will be separated from each other but have similar layouts. These spaces would include an office and “open office area” for systems furniture (furniture is not in contract). A new Weapons Vault that is approximately 25’-0” x 30’-0” with a dehumidification system is included. The parking and grading around the building will be modified to comply with the UFC.

Knightsbridge Apartments

Client: THG Companies

Owner: Wesley Housing Development

Location: Arlington, VA

The scope of work consists of interior renovations to approximately 10,000 square feet The Knightsbridge Apartments consists of 37 multifamily apartment units in two three-story garden-style brick apartment buildings built in 1947. Owner has determined that the property needs a substantial renovation to address systems that have met their life expectancy and to position the property for future sustainability.

Keystone Job Corps Welcome Center

Magnitude of Project: $1,500,000

The scope of work consists of design and construction of a 2,600 square feet new welcome center. The work includes, but is not limited to, miscellaneous site improvements in the form of general landscaping, roads, parking, drainage, connection to all utility lines and site/security lighting.  The design-build project when complete will produce a code-compliant, fully functional facility.

Snowden’s Ridge Apartments

Client: THG Companies

Owner: APAH Snowden Limited Partnership

Location: Silver Spring, MD

Services: Interior finishes Takeoff & Cost Estimates

The scope of work consists of interior renovations to 100,000 square feet of interior renovation of an eighty-seven (87) dwelling unit townhouse and apartment neighborhood. Including but not limited to flooring, painting, ceiling, windows and doors.

AFMES Medical Warehouse Addition/Alternation

Magnitude of Project: $5,000,000

The scope of work consists of ground up construction and renovation of a 5,800 square feet medical warehouse facility. The work includes construction of a 2,500 SF warehouse addition to the AFMES facility, Building 115 and renovation of the existing 3,300 Logistics General Storage warehouse into a more functional and efficient warehouse space, along with site and incidental related work.

Tobyhanna Army Depot Building 69 Additions and Renovations

Client: Senate Builders, Inc.

The scope of work consists of design and construction services associated with the construction of a new 4,100 square feet addition, and renovation of a 7,700 square feet existing building with a mezzanine and 5,000-pound lift to elevate workload to a second level to allow both floors of the addition to be utilized. The overall facility will have lighting, heating, and sprinkler systems. Ariabuild was proud to be chosen to work with Senate Builders, Inc., who specializes in construction for defense and veterans.

Wilmington VA Medical Center New Administrative Building

The new administrative building for the Wilmington VA Medical Center is a 2-story, 23,500 square feet office space. It serves as the administrative office for Wilmington Veteran Affairs Medical Center. Ariabuild was proud to be chosen to work with Senate Builders, Inc., who specializes in construction for defense and veterans.

Task Order 2 Multi-State Fiber Optic Facilities Construction

Client: Communication Infrastructure Corporation

Architect: Altergy

Owner: Allcom Global Services, Inc.

Locations: CA, GA, NV, WA

This project consisted of site improvements and construction of new building facilities for hydrogen fuel cell generators. These facilities were across the interstate fiberoptic network in a series of locations around the United States. Ariabuild provided accurate scheduling and takeoffs while working with contractors and the Altergy architects. Our client, Communication Infrastructure Corporation (CIC), is a designer and builder of fiberoptic, wireless, and infrastructure of microwave communications. They chose Ariabuild because of our accuracy, dependability, and experience.

Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center

Client: Senate Builders, Inc.

Ariabuild provided the project schedule, takeoff, and cost estimates for the repair of two floors of the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center. This project was for 16,500 square feet of a 7-story building. Whenever we can, Ariabuild works on projects to help our veterans. This was another job for our clients, Senate Builders, Inc., contractors for defense and veterans.

McDonald's Restaurant Modernization

Client: Blue Burro Technology

Ariabuild was part of the team for the complete building interior and exterior modernization and site improvements for a one-story, 4,500 square feet McDonald’s restaurant in Gurnee, Illinois. We provided takeoff, cost estimating, and value engineering. Providing construction services for the restaurant and hospitality industry is one of our specialties. Because we understand the nuances of these industries, we can provide accurate and timely services. This McDonald’s renovation is an example of one of our many projects in the restaurant industry. 

Mariposa 38 Unit Multi Residential Apartment

This job consisted of project scheduling, takeoff, and cost estimating for the Mariposa building apartment. It is a seven-story, 40,000 square feet building apartment, including residential, parking, and common areas. The property serves as a 38-unit TOC affordable housing multi-residential apartment building. Affordable housing is a huge concern in all of Los Angeles County; we were pleased to work on this project and help address this issue. 

Training Support Facility Army Aviation Renovation

Client: Morgan Parish & Associates, LLC

Architect: Knight Architects, Inc

Owner: US Army Corps of Engineers

Location: Fort Rucker, AL

For this project, we worked with our clients Morgan Parish & Associates, LLC, on the Fort Rucker Military Base for the U.S. Army Aviation in Alabama. Geary Apartment Renovation

Client: Coil Electric General Contractor

Location: San Francisco, CA

Services: Electrical & Fire Alarm Takeoff & Cost Estimate  

The Geary Apartments in San Francisco, CA, are a three-story, 15,000 square foot multi-residential apartment building. This was one of our local projects, and we worked directly with Coil Electrical General Contractor from the San Francisco Bay Area. This is one of our smaller projects. We provided electrical and fire alarm takeoff and cost estimates.

Speranza Apartments

Client: MG Mayberry Construction

Owner: SRG Partnership

Location: Houston, TX

Services: Drywall & Lumber Takeoff

For this project, we worked with our client, MG Mayberry Construction, on the Speranza Apartments. The Houston, Texas multi-residential apartment is three-stories and covers 5,400 square feet. Ariabuild provided drywall and lumber takeoff for phase-three of construction and was one of our smaller projects for multi-family housing.

Glassdoor Headquarters Building Modernization

Client: Coil Electric General Contractor

Location: San Francisco, CA

Services: Takeoff & Cost Estimate 

 This project was for one of our repeat clients, Coil Electric General Contractor in the Bay Area. We were happy to provide the takeoff and cost estimate for the modernization of the Glassdoor headquarters on Mission Street in San Francisco. Hotel Nue
